Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and versatile individual to join our team as an Operations Associate. In this role, you will start by managing customer support, assisting in fulfilling and packing orders in our warehouse, maintaining inventory and stock levels, and helping to keep the store organized. You’ll also have the chance to get creative by learning and using design tools like Canva, helping to plan and execute sales events, and supporting both the Community Account Manager and CEO in various tasks. This is a dynamic role that offers the opportunity to grow into different areas of the business, depending on your skills and interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone, providing excellent customer service and troubleshooting assistance.
- Help fulfill and pack orders in the warehouse to ensure timely shipments to customers.
- Maintain inventory levels, monitor stock, and coordinate with the team to ensure orders are always fulfilled without delays.
- Organize and manage the store, ensuring the warehouse remains tidy and inventory is easily accessible.
- Assist in receiving shipments and packing products accordingly. A Tetris enthusiast ;)
- Work closely with the team to maintain product listings and assist with website updates.
- Learn and utilize design tools like Canva to create graphics for sales events, promotions, and social media.
- Assist in planning and executing sales events, including promotions around major holidays.
- Collaborate with the Community Account Manager and CEO to help with various tasks, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations—this could include anything from marketing support to operations.
- Flexibility to take on new responsibilities as the business grows and changes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for the Sim Racing Industry: Ideally, you’re an avid sim racer or have an interest in the sim racing community.
- Adaptability: You’ll be working on multiple tasks across different areas of the business, so being flexible and open to new challenges is key.
- Customer Service Skills: Experience in customer support, either in person or online, is a strong plus.
- Organizational Skills: You’ll be helping to manage inventory and the warehouse, so attention to detail is crucial.
- Tech Savvy: Willingness to learn or have experience with tools like Shopify, Gorgias, Asana, Canva, Adobe Suite and similar is highly preferred but not essential.
- Team Player: We’re a small but mighty team, so collaboration and communication are essential.
- Hands-On Attitude: We’re looking for someone who is proactive and doesn’t shy away from getting things done.
Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel to our store in Mountainside, New Jersey (This is an On-Site Position)
- Willingness to work on major shopping holidays such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
- Flexibility to work on weekends
- Experience in customer support or operations is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift and move boxes as needed in the warehouse up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to learn new skills, including basic design tools like Canva.
- A basic understanding of sim racing is preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA.
